Play Time!

       One of the biggest changes from month four to month five for us has been solo play time. I think this comes partly as a result of our much improved sitting skills! This little man loves to sit on the floor surrounded by toys and blankets. He takes turns picking up each toy with the right hand, transferring it to the left hand and then dropping it at his left side. Whenever I peek in on him after being gone for a few minutes, the floor in front of him and to the right is clear of toys and there is a pile on his left. So funny! I wonder if it will reverse at some point? Blocks are also a big hit these days. Thanks to Auntie Michele, we've had loads of fun taking blocks out of the trolley and "putting them back in" (Ahem). It's so great to watch this little guy playing on his own. He is so enthralled, yet always looks up with a smile for anyone who comes to say hi.
