Oh, hello there!

Well, well, well... it sure is nice to be back on this blog :) I'll not even mention how long it's been since the last post was written... Life has become increasingly rich as the days and weeks and months have past and now we are in a whole new year as a family of wonderful THREE! How splendid to be parents! To be a mama to this just spectacular little man! It's hard to believe he is already 5 months old! Just a short while ago I was waddling around in the summer heat with this little (and very pokey) person inside me, and now we are knee-deep in snow and have a small person, full of smiles (and growls...?) in our midst at all times. How. Wonderful.
It was quite a challenging journey, those first few weeks after our little man arrived. It is of course all a distant blur now that I have healed up and baby is sleeping more (ish...) and life has fallen into a new and beautiful (and sometimes hectic) rhythm. He sits and sings along through the violin lessons I teach here at home, he bounces while I cook dinner, and he sits and listens to Satie and Harry Belafonte in his little blanket nest in the living room, playing with toys while I "clean the house" (aka, walk back and forth between different rooms carrying the same item and occasionally remembering what I meant to do with it...)

The little guys is calling to be rescued, so off I go! More soon :)
