Oooooh just a few more recent pictures of baby as he's been growing and absolutely thrilling us with his blossoming personality every day. For the last two months or so, this man child has been exploring his vocal range. It started with excited, shrill screeching and morphed into a deep, powerful growl as time has gone on. We've observed that the growl shows itself most readily when men are around. When daddy comes home, our vocalizing abruptly changes from mellow coos and babbles, to the guttural, masculine (and often very alarming) growl. It is hilarious. He sweetly smiles for the ladies, showing off the cheeks and sparkly eyes, but enter daddy, or Pop Pop or one of the uncles (or the poor unsuspecting man sitting behind us in church...) and out emerges the "baby man growl". Oh, to know what goes through this child's head!
I caught him mid-growl for this one (I was the only one with him but the coat is from Uncle Phil, so maybe he felt the need to growl in appreciation...)
It only took us 3 months but now we love our pacifier. Reaching for it all alone is a fun skill!

Auntie Liv and baby a few months ago! Oh, how they've grown!
We love Uncle Phil. Just chillin at Christmas time.
Ahem. The "fist of victory" emerges while nursing, and also when one has successfully evaded one's nap...
Yes, yes we love our shark jammies and our nobbie ball. (Here we are growling with enthusiasm)
The aforementioned "nest" where one can sit comfortably, cozily surrounded by all the best playthings :) Ah, the life of a little man :)
