It is currently somewhere far below zero here in frozen land. The good news is, the temps should be drifting up above zero over the next few days, so perhaps we will emerge from our warm cave. Perhaps.
Posting everyday is NOT something I can maintain, nor did I really make it something to strive for. I just thought I would post whenever I thought of it (and happened to have a free minute) or at least once every two weeks. Let's see how long this lasts! Haha!
Recently, while browsing through a few of the local Marshalls stores, I stumbled across these pretty sweet journal-type books. They're a creative cross between a journal and a memory album and they come with a pen that has a glue stick on the opposite end. I have to say, these wonderfully priced treasures have inspired me to do something creative as often as I can. It has been great! I've bought entirely too many of them but have made quite a nice dent in my first one, so I think it will be a very worth-while splurge. Oh, did I mention they are WAY cheaper than at Michael's craft stores or even online? $3.99 for the mini ones, $5.99 for the medium ones and $7.99 for the large ones! These things get me so excited! I've been wanting someplace to put all the paper mementos I have collected, as well as to start a kind of memory book of our Little Man's first year. These are perfect for sure! If you're near a Marshalls store and are into this type of thing it will be well worth it to scope it out!
Baby has been quite cheerful, despite being on some sort of diaper-filling-strike for the past week. I think I am more uncomfortable about it than he is! He's been happily bouncing away or playing near to wherever I am working. It's such fun watching him entertain himself with toys and books (although I found a chunk of one of our books missing the other day and the page was suspiciously soggy...). Everything is such a miracle to him!
Helping mama with an ab workout (I was lifting him on my legs. Good. Heavens. He's a heavy little person!)
Sometimes chewing on one's finger is preferable to chewing on a toy llama or bumblebee...
Is this our first lesson in sharing?? With Dino? Ha! No. He was trying to reach over the ball to grab the dino's teeth...
About a month or so ago. This jumper is a big hit!
We love Mr. Fox :)
I think Sophie the Giraffe is our most popular toy of late. When Daddy or I squeak it from another room, this little guy's eyes light up and his mouth pops open and the arms wave in anticipation! Too cute.
