Dresses. Phases 2-3

Michele and I were feeling very brave and decided to embark on a sewing journey to make skirts. We were overcome with ambition in the fabric store and decided to set our sights a bit higher than mere skirts and buy dress patterns!

After much deliberation over fabric, and a few educational conversations with the sales lady, we headed back to the home front for phase one of "The Great Dress Adventure of 2012".

Well, phase one was quite uneventful. Much ironing of fabric and cutting out of fabric ensued and none of it really merited photographic documentation.

Phase two however, was quite exciting! All pieces were cut out and we even ventured into the scary land of darts (and conquered them by the way).

Phase 3 has been by far the most eventful. Now we have defeated not only darts but pleats too. Oooooh yeah.

I'll keep ya posted on our progress. We're preeeeeeetty serious. Haha!
