Like this exceptionally large carrot.

We got another 10 inches of snow, so lots of cozy home time for us!

Mikhail is a sweet boy and seems to find so much joy in the simplest of things. (gotta love babies) His newest love is looking out the window at the cars passing while mama props him so he can stand on the windowsill. I looked down once to see him arched backward, gazing up to smile at me, you know just making sure I was still there ;), and another time I looked down to and found he had his face pressed against the glass with his mouth wide open. We must have been quite the spectacle from outside... Oh we did spot a pair of squirrels climbing up and down the tree outside the window and it was fun to see Mikhail focus on them and watch as they ran out of view. Spring time will be such fun! We're so looking forward to long walks around the neighborhood! We actually did go for a walk or two this weekend when it was in the 30's and 40's. Daddy was working from home Saturday morning so I strapped baby on and we trudged through the melting snow, round and round the block (until I thought my hips were going to fall off...). We even stopped into the bakery to say hi to our friends and smell the lovely smells.
Mikhail is loving solids more and more but nursing is still his favorite. What a funny kid... :)
