Graaaaaaduations!

May has been the month of graduations for this family! First mom graduated with her Master's degree and then Brandon triumphantly graduated with his Bachelors in Fine Arts! We are all very proud of them and have had lots of excitement within the last two weeks. Nothing better than celebrating with family, even when things get a bit, eeehhhhhh, hectic. :)

I was trying to help mom with her gown... You'd think I'd remember how to arrange these complicated things! But no... I had to scope the place to see what other people were doing.

Success! What a lovely graduate :)

Proud Dad and happy Mom

Proud Grandson :)

Mom is an amazing role model for these girls who are VERY blessed to have her.

GRADUATION NUMBER TWO!! And we all caravanned (ish) to Chicago. Woohoo!

View from the hotel where the two of us stayed.

Pre-graduation breakfast at our favorite spot on Michigan Ave!

The very amusing graduate...

Happy Michele :)

Some of us cannot take a picture normally...

Actually MANY of our clan seem to have an aversion to simply smiling for a photograph. Oy.

This was the only group shot we got (taken by our waitress who got to know us pretty well over the weekend) It was a BIT bright so I did what I could to salvage it. Hence, the "unique" quality.

Graduation venue was outdoors and very impressive except for the lack of shade... It was worth it though :)

Our stellar graduate accepting his diploma on screen.

Ah yes, victory!!

What a happy day. Hot, but happy.

Congratulatory hand-shakes all around of course.

The Three Musketeers united once again.

Very happy and proud parents with the stylin' graduate. The hair...

A great couple :)

Little brother all grown up. Oh where does the time go... siiiigh...

We rejoiced when shade was found.

The cool water was incredible after all that sunny heat!

Ahhhh, Splendid water.

The graduate howling "Fooooooooood!!!!"
Hooray for the classes of 2013!! We love our grads lots :)
