Ahhhh. Another lovely Saturday has come and gone. Unseasonably warm and cheerfully sunny. Splendid.
Aside from the fact that all five of the T/M family members have a "tropical disease" (a.k.a. Rome's definition of the Commom Cold...), we managed to enjoy this day. Despite our sneezes and coughs, Maryana and I ventured out to peruse some thrift stores with friends, leaving Lily with the men in the germ-infested house. I did attack our room with Lysol wipes before we left though. Hopefully that diminished the germ count significantly.
We found some great deals after hitting three local shops, and returned home heavy-laden, exhausted and quite triumphant. Can't wait to start "rehabing" that great chair!
I would just like to add that along with many great finds for myself and our home, I also returned home with not one, but TWO pairs of replacement earmuffs for Rome!! (Insert wild applause)
A successful endeavor indeed. AND, the sun was shining :)
